Role: Systems Engineer/DevOps
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6months+
F2F Interview
Overview/Responsibilities:
• Manage aspects of our 24/7 complex SaaS system operations
• Partner with Quality Engineering, Development and Operations teams to ensure
timely, accurate deployment of code across environments
• Manage the implementation and deployment of hardware systems to achieve
optimal performance and high availability.
• Ensure projects are on schedule and within budget ensuring achievement of
standard SLAs for availability and response time
• Oversee the facilitation of technology and skills knowledge transfer within
the team and across departments.
• Estimate and plan own work ensuring proper documentation of work
• Evaluates issues with the system and resolves them in a timely manner
• Understands all dependencies, interfaces and services required by the system
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a
related technical field
• 5 years’ experience working as a Systems Engineer
• 4 years’ experience providing operational support for mission critical
applications
• 4 years’ experience with Linux Systems
• 4 years’ experience with Python or other shell scripting technology
What Would Make Me Stand Out?
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and systems
• Knowledge of deployment, networking, and servers
• Experience working with internal/external customers
• Knowledge of security operations and systems
• AWS or other cloud certifications
