We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Developer with 12 + years of experience in Microservices, Java scripting, Spring Boot, and Advanced Java. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during the day shift and will not require travel. This role involves developing and maintaining geospatial applications that contribute to our company’s mission and positively impact society.

Responsibilities

 

- Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Microservices architecture to ensure scalability and performance.

- Implement Java scripting to enhance the functionality and interactivity of geospatial applications.

- Utilize Spring Boot to create robust and efficient backend services for geospatial data processing.

- Apply advanced Java techniques to solve complex problems and optimize application performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality geospatial solutions.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to geospatial applications to maintain smooth operation.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development to continuously improve our applications.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and development.

- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Ensure that all geospatial applications comply with industry standards and regulations.

- Contribute to the documentation of application features, technical specifications, and user guides.
