Role: Java with Linux environment
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Specific Skills:
· Senior level, 5+ years’ experience with the below skills
· Expert: Java application development in a Linux environment
· Expert: RESTful API development, Spring, Jersey/CXF, Tomcat or similar Expert: Scripting in Python or Perl Senior
· Object Oriented design and best practices Senior
· Utilizing testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG or similar)
· Experience developing and tuning cloud based applications
· Experience with Redis, Riak, MongoDB, Cassandra or relational DB Experience with continuous integration or deployment Experience with Big Data and NoSQL databases is a plus
Responsibilities:
· Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle
· Understand and clarify project requirements and translate those requirements into designs and development tasks
· Help design application and platform architecture
· Research and recommend software development tools and utilities
· Provide accurate task estimates
· Adhere to departmental standards for design, documentation and development
