Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an
Applications Developer for a right to hire assignment with one of our
premier financial services clients in Wilmington, DE.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce standards and best practices.
- Review
and understand the best approach to implement requirements; communicate
the same to the project team; raise conflicts, complications, and
issues in the requirements; provide sizing estimates.
- Configure complex integrations and services.
- Configure HTML/JSP/JavaScript components where necessary.
- Perform
complex system configuration tasks; configure authentication services;
oversee the Rule Set versioning strategy and execution.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience as an application developer
- 5+ years of programming and design experience utilizing PEGA PRPC (including version 7)
- 3+ years of application architecture and design experience
- 6+ years working experience with application server technology
- 6+
year's experience of enterprise level systems development with strong
knowledge of industry standard interface protocols (i.e. SOAP, REST,
HTTP etc.)
- 3+ year's experience of enterprise level systems IT Risk development with strong knowledge of industry standards.
- 6+ year's experience of enterprise level database systems.
- Working knowledge or Pega Standards and Guardrails.
- Knowledge of PRPC optimization, profiling, and trouble shooting.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL.
- Ability to manage rapid change.
- Ability to create highly available systems.
- Ability to manage concurrent development.
- Able to handle small, medium projects and guide group of 3-5 developers providing technical leadership
Preferred Skills:
- CSSA or higher Pega PRPC certification is desirable
- Experience working in Agile is plus
- Knowledge of Reference Data or experience in Credit card systems would be a plus
- WebSphere preferred
