Job Description:

Java Developer

Remote

6+ months

 

USC/GC only

 

This position is for a strong mid-level Java specialist with solid experience developing APIs that support Web-based clients, server-to-server integration via AWS queues and REST APIs, and high-performance automation and business logic.

 

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer in an agile environment.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Java and object-oriented design.
• Experience developing high-performing, flexible APIs serving both user and system interfaces; specific experience with Oracle and/or Postgres data stores exceeding 500 million records.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Visual Studio Code required; familiarity with HATEOAS, AWS queues, and/or React a bonus.
