Job title: AWS Technical Architect

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 9-12 months

 

Job Description

·         Must: Should have experience in Infrastructure & Application architecting on AWS cloud

·         Must: Should possess business level understanding of enterprise systems to drive innovations and transformations

·         Should have very good understanding of Cloud Native services

·         Should have understanding of micro services architecture

·         Ability to provide holistic and right scale cloud solutions that addresses scalability, availability, service continuity (DR), performance and security requirements

·         Scripting and Automation skills – Ruby, Python etc., and relevant SDKs 

·         Have prepared and deployed Infrastructure as code using Cloud Formation templates or Terraform scripts

·         Clear understanding of IAM Architecture, roles and policies &

·         Design understanding and experience in RDBMS, NoSQL and RDS

·         Exposure to PaaS technologies and Containers like Docker, Kubernetes

·         Should understand costing of different cloud services

·         Should have experience with major AWS services.  

·         Good Understanding of CI CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Bamboo

·         Understanding of Application architecture and Enterprise Architecture is added advantage

·         Should have good knowledge of Network/ Security design and architecture on AWS public cloud

·         Understanding of DevOps principles is added advantage

·         Must have worked on migration solution and execution either tool based or native AWS services

·         Discovery and assessment of resources using tools or native AWS solutions

·         Experience in Cloud scale APM and Monitoring Tools such as ELK ,Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, Appdynamics, AWS Monitoring

·         Ability to uncover business challenges and develop a custom solution to solve those challenges

Certifications

·         Vendor certifications in Virtualization, Systems, Storage, Networking

·         AWS Solution Architect or Implementation

·         ITIL and or Agile methodologies
