- RestFul Webservices
- Pair Programming Application development Experience in Agile/Extreme Programming and Test Driven Development
- Spring Framework extensive hand's on (preferably with Spring Boot and Cloud native development tools)
Responsibilities
Translate business processes and functions into technical solutions
Design and develop transaction modules using Spring Framework or equivalent JEE technology on multi-tier
Solve technical problems using industry best practices and coordinate with other team members to ensure quality deliverables
Deliver analysis/validation documentation and review with team
Work as a Pair Programmer in the team using the best of Agile practices with TDD model of development
Participate in code reviews, maintaining and enforcing coding standards
Interface with business analysts, SMEs and technical team members to design the solution
Required Skills
Strong communication, documentation and analytical skills
Working experience with industry standard SDLC models (i.e., Agile, Extreme Programming), with Test Driven Development model
Comprehensive understanding of relational database and NoSQL database and flat file processing concepts
Experience in working with Oracle or MS SQL Server or NoSQL databases (minimum 5 years of experience)
Excellent in object oriented development, Spring Framework and Java Enterprise concepts (minimum 5 years of experience)
Experience with the following tools and technologies:
Spring Platform (I.e.Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud) (minimum 3 years of experience)
Development of Web Services/REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML/SOA (minimum 2 years of experience)
Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins CI or similar)
Development experience with tools like Gradle/Maven, GitHub/Accurev (minimum 1 year of experience)
Unit testing frameworks like Junit, Cucumber (minimum 3 years of experience)
Nice to Have
Understanding of code quality api/tool (SonarQube)
Understanding of Service interaction api/tool (Swagger),
Understanding of logging/tracings api/tool (Spring sleuth)
Understanding of Circuit Breaker functions like Hystrix
Understanding of a cloud native work environment
Understanding of Gemfire, Greenplum data stores
Understanding of Microservices development
Understanding Spring Cloud Data, Spring Security, OAuth, Service monitoring on Cloud
Understanding of various file formats and methods of data communication (flat file, XML, Web Services, etc.)
