Role: Java Developer with C++

Location: St. Louis, MO

Duration: 6 months+

Responsibilities:

Possess advanced knowledge of the tools and processes required by the role.

Write high-performance, reusable, modular code

Create new functions and features to improve the company product

Communicate regularly with product owners to finalize project specifications

Ensure that code is efficient, scalable, maintainable, extensible, robust and easy to understand. Diagnose and fix code problems

Deliver code that meets requirements on schedule

Improve application quality and reliability by implementing good standards and processes.

Collaborate with other development teams (even ones in other offices).

Required Skills:

6+ years of experience in similar or related positions;

BS degree in Computer Science or equal Job Experience preferred;

Java engineering experience;

SQL experience

Experience in Java Script frameworks like Angular JS, Spring, Hibernete;

Ability to read, understand and analyze C++ code

Experience in an environment with rapid product development cycles

Experience in C++ is a strong plus

Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Ability to communicate effectively with team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
