Job Title: Big Data/Hadoop Architect

Duration: 6-12 Months+ Contract

Locations: Bethesda, MD/Stamford, CT

Interview process: Phone then Skype hire

Skills:

• 10-12 Years of Overall Experience with focus on DW/Big data related technologies
• Must have experience in Below Skills

• Hadoop
• Hive/Pig
• Map Reduce

• Experience with Apache NiFi for data flow and monitoring, data processing – data transformation, stream and batch analytics is a must
• Experience with Kafka Proxy is a must, must have ability to consume and produce topics data using REST APIs exposed thorough Kafka REST proxy
• Experience with AWS environment is highly desirable
• Terraform Scripting to provision the infrastructure is good to have
• Cassandra good to have
• Elastic Search ( good to have)
• HDP(horton works) experience must
• IBM BigInsights experience desirable
•  Kafka Management, and consumption
• Data Ingestion into Hadoop in

• Batch Mode
• Stream Mode

• Data Consumption from Hadoop to downstream Big Data Databases like Cassandra, CouchBase etc.
• Excellent written and oral communications, must have experience in working in Agile based project execution methodology
• Self-Starter, Must have ability to work and deliver independently with low dependence on other teams in multi team execution scenarios
