Job title : SEO Developer

Location : Remote

Duration : 12 months

Visa :  USC, GC, GCEAD, H1B Only

 

Required :

 

The SEO Developer will assist the KP Technical SEO team in optimizing websites and resolving technical issues on KP sites.

• The candidate should have superior AEM, coding, technical, organizational and time management skills.
• The candidate will develop deliverables to ensure SEO tactics and site performance is best of breed.
• The SEO Developer will work with the Technical SEO team and engineering teams to implement technical and performance recommendations across KP properties.
• Responsibilities:
• Ensure that website coding is optimized for search
• Work with publishers, authors, & SEO team to ensure SEO standards are met
• Assist with integrations to enhance or maintain SEO performance
• Plan website SEO contingencies for problems that may arise
• Provide development support to SEO stakeholders
• Provide development governance across sites & templates
• Expertise in robots.txt & sitemap management

 Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or web development.
• A minimum of 4 years' front-end web development experience
• Experience in server-side settings, sitemaps, server response codes, rewrites
• Experience in web information architecture and website usability
• Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Launch, & Adobe Target
• Proficiency in front-end programming, such as HTML5, CSS, JS, headless
• Experience with back-end programming, databases, such as Azure & SQL
• Experience in use and development of SEO Edgeworkers
• Familiarity with SEO performance tools, such as Deepcrawl & Siteimprove
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and site performance levers
• Knowledge of CMS platforms, schema, knowledge graph, website architecture
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Experience working across multiple enterprise level teams
• Organized, deadline-driven, and detail-focused
