Responsibilities
This role requires demonstrated experience with the Java and XML technologies. The ideal candidate will excel in our fast-paced, collaborative, customer-first environment and will contribute in a variety of ways, including:
o Developing new custom function and assisting with defect support
o Authoring functional specifications and/or high-level designs
o Extending the automation / continuous integration platform, including tests
o Working closely with the QA team to ensure a quality deliverable
o Creating product documentation for end-users
o Providing configuration, installation, and ongoing maintenance support
o Providing technical guidance during requirements workshops with our customers
o Providing technical input to the leadership team in the writing of client contracts
o Mentoring
o Contributing to our legacy of outstanding innovation through the invention/IP process
Required Skills & Experience:
o A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
o Exceptional written and verbal communication
o At least 5 years of Java-based development
o Experience with XML
o Computer science fundamentals including object-oriented concepts, data structures and related algorithms
o Familiarity with the software engineering lifecycle and methodologies
Windows- and Linux-based operating systems, including software installation, light administration and simple scriptingBest Regards,
