Position: DevOps Technical Lead

Location:  NYC NY

Duration: 6 months+

(F2F Interview)

 

Need to provide passport number for submission

 

Technical Skills: New Relic, JBOS Fuse platform, Jenkins, CI/CD deployment model, .NET services, AMQ 6/AMQ7, API gateways, BATCH monitoring. Log analysis, root cause correlation and discovery. Java development experience.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Deploy bundles and code to non-production environments. Report any issues to development.

·         Document and verify MOP (deployment instructions) for offshore team for production deployments

·         Track deployment calendar activities on share point and share daily deployment activities with management daily.

·         Lead daily meetings with offshore daily to discuss issues with activities related to deployments and triage of incident tickets.

·         Document and explain backed out changes to management and developers

·         Work with offshore to insure validation activities for impacted apps due to related changes.

·         Perform on call duties with a team of 3 others.

·         Responding to alerts in email of monitored events or issues.

·         Respond to callouts from the NOC to triage or monitor issues

·          Create SHOUT events in REMEDY for outage issues.

·         Work on project and configuration change issues with Ops team as assigned.

·         Create daily ticket report for HLP ticket activities for Director.

·         Attend daily operation change call to speak to scheduled changes and deployments.

·          Provide daily morning updates on deployment status to directors and others
