Role: AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote  

Duration: 12+ months 

Visa: (USC, GC, GC EAD,H1 Transfer and H4 EAD)

Experience: Must have 12+ years 

Job Description

• Create, implement, and manage the development of scripts to automate everyday operations
• Monitor and maintain multiple (DevOps) environments for increased observability
• Coordinate system migrations and system upgrades working with the agency's public cloud manager.
• Develop tools to continuously improve maintainability, monitoring, security and scalability of cloud deployments.
• Operations support and enhancement of the SHARP platform
• All other duties as assigned.
  

Required Skills

• Experience with planning, architecting, and implementing AWS Cloud environments – 8 Years Required
• AWS Management Services experience (CloudWatch, ELB, EC2, CloudTrail and AWS Config), AWS workspaces, and AWS directory Services – 4 Years Required
• Creating, implementing, and managing the development of scripts to automate everyday operations – 4 Years Required
• Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes – 4 Years Required
• Demonstrated experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting activities. – 4 Years Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business or equivalent experience. – 4 Years Required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. – 2 Years Required
• Effectively manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting assignments, and switch quickly between assignments, as required. – 2 Years Required
• Experience working in an agile sprint team. – 2 Years Preferred
• Prior experience with an HHS agency – 2 Years Preferred
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – 1 Years Prefer
