Position: System Engineer

Location: Santa Clara,CA (Day1 Onsite, Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

• Complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with supporting analysis & documentation  
• Fault Tree analysis modeling – Inform of which subsystems/components are influencing the reliability of the product
• Identify TPP (Technical Performance Measure – INCOSE Terminology, to detail path to achieve technical measures with project direction)
• Identify feasible alternatives with team – Not limited to singular solution space, but rather inform a system level view that can leverage other projects to improve on product if different architectures are explored.
• Develop mathematical models to detail TPP burndown plans
• Complete a Trade study and resolve with team the path to achieving the TPPs
• ID risks with proposed trade space, to include working with PMO to communicate ROI
• C++ :  Read SW code to determine if desired process/procedures match engineering intent
  
• Python – Development of feasibility engineering tools to inform of design/process improvements
  
• Knowledgeable of IBM Tools (DOORS, IBM Requirements Management DOORS Next)
• MATLAB – Development of NPSW tools for engineering assessment of root cause
• UML/SYSML knowledge is a plus.
