Job Description:-

Roles and Responsibilities

Creating and maintaining automation scripts using Puppet or Chef

Work closely with cloud architects and application teams to develop, plan and implement application deployments to private and public clouds

Drive technical innovation and efficiency in cloud infrastructure operations via automation scripting and working with API’s

Support cloud servers including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.

Develop scripts for automating client/server functions

Monitor automated systems recovery solutions

Applies an understanding of the key vulnerabilities related to data transfer between internal/external systems to maximize data security and integrity

Required Education and Experience

Solid hands-on experience and advanced skills in UNIX system administration

Scripting experience (e.g, Phyton, Perl, bsh, csh, etc.)

Automation using Puppet or Chef

Experience with performance tuning of the Unix Instances

Experience with arichtecting DNS, LDAP, Sendmail & Patching solutions

Experience with AWS Cloud Formation to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment to reduce time to production

Experience with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) features for provisioning, monitoring, scaling and distribution of compute infrastructure
