Description:

Under the direct supervision of the DEO Project Manager, Contractor will assist DEO by providing the expertise necessary through Information Technology Staff Augmentation for Applications Development Analysis services in accordance with the tasks outlined below.

 

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, remove impediments as needed, stand-ups, stakeholder meetings, etc.);
  • Coach in Agile/Scrum practices and ensure correct use of Scrum process;
  • Train teams to self-manage and self-organize;
  • Ensure that the team works closely with product owner on backlog refinement for backlog priority;
  • Resolve Impediments in timely manner;
  • Resolve team conflicts and shield the team from distractions;
  • Identify cross–team dependencies;
  • Coordinate and assist the team to create clear and concise epics/stories and sizing/tasking;
  • Monitor, track, and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress;
  • Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization;
  • Coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization;
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution; DEO Contract Number: C31242
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiate information to ensure that a team’s progress and successes are highly visible to all stakeholders;
  • Support and educate the Product Owners, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog;
  • Manage Scrum task board for teams;
  • Manage Scrum artifacts, including burn downs and burn-ups;
  • Ensure story points are effectively managed and measured; and
  • Attend Agile planning sessions with Agile program teams and assist delivery team with estimating and accepting stories.
