Title: SAP HCM Consultant (Technical role)
Location: Omaha, NE
Duration: 6-months, with possible extension or full-time offer
Interview: Phone+ Skype, but in-person preferred
Visa: Green Card, USC - through employer it's fine
Role Title: System Analyst - HCM (Technical consultant)
Role Description.
o Solicits requirements by identifying a desired future state that addresses a business problem
o Articulates requirements to the lowest level of detail that will provide the biggest impact in advancing business objectives and project success
o Configure systems to support Business requirements, where applicable
o Provide accurate effort estimates for business analyst tasks, assisting others where needed
o Access solution options and prioritize competing business demands
o Manage relationships with business partners to drive satisfaction with IT
o Consult on product lifecycle management
o Create Product process and integration maps
o Recognize and participate in the management of the Product(s) lifecycle from strategic planning through support and decommissioning
o Contribute to the recommendation and implementation of Product best practices and toolsets to increase quality results and service bandwidth
o Contributes to Business Case and ROI efforts
o Work collaboratively with other Business and IT Product and Support Teams to ensure communications, transparently integrated processes and seamless support delivery
o Identify and address critical issues that could impact the fit and quality of solutions and escalate as needed
o Participate in product-related project plans, resources and deliverables to defined timelines and scope
o Assist in advising and guiding colleagues on any aspect of the Product, including training for other IT product or support teams, and business partners where appropriate
o Leads others in the practice of systems analysis
Required Qualifications:
o Highly motivated and self-directed
o 3 – 10 years of experience in software development or related information management role (mobile, custom, SAP, and/or 3rd party) or equivalent role
o Experience with HCM or HR or Benefits software development
o Involvement with multiple custom developed product and project life cycle implementations.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present information both to technical and non-technical customers/stakeholders, in appropriate media and form
o Ability to maintain a clear focus on achieving results that meet professional and quality standards, within agreed timescales
o Demonstrate initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standards
o Pro-actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement within the department and acting upon findings to initiate improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience in implementation of enterprise products that satisfy construction related business needs
o Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies
o Bachelor's degree in a technology related field
o Possess an understanding of information technology project management best practices
o Experience with integration with 3rd party solutions
Knowledge of Visio, SharePoint and Microsoft Suite or similar productsBest Regards,
