2.TEST MANAGER (UTILITIES) – ADMS PROGRAM

·         Manage the testing program for ADMS Implementation

·         Responsible for Test planning, execution, risk mitigation

·         Work with key stakeholders to facilitate gap analysis, demo’s & SDLC management

·         This position will be responsible for delivering test completeness, wrt cost, quality and schedule

·         First point of escalation for project or Provider related issues

·         Coordinate and manage delivery, issue resolution, timesheet reporting and crisis management

·         Weekly status reporting and attend/facilitate status review meetings

·         Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions between onsite and offshore resources and provide status to the client stakeholders

·         Responsible for competency development of team

·         Responsible to drive Automation testing

·         Work with key stakeholders to identify Functional and Non-Functional test requirements, understand application architecture and finalize test-scope

·         This position will be responsible for evaluating and testing for completeness, quality, correctness, performance and security of Applications

·         To be SPOC for any ADMS test related queries for both onsite and offshore teams

·         Coordinate with Test Manager/SME to drive at action plans for quality delivery with cost and schedule

·         Responsible to mentor fellow team members in domain and testing

4. ADMS Domain Expert

Location: Portland, US

Ideal Candidate

Candidate should provide power utilities domain expertise in executing ADMS testing program at the customer site. The person should be able to communicate with customer stakeholders and go through the ADMS artifacts to analyze requirements and assist team in deriving test scenarios, test plans and coming up with overall integrated ADMS testing approach. The candidate should facilitate workshops/interviews with stakeholders to gain understanding on ADMS testing requirements and facilitate quick and efficient knowledge sharing between customer representatives and vendor  team. Also participate in testing complex ADMS test scenarios. The candidate should have prior experience in SCADA/DMS/ADMS projects and have good knowledge of advanced DMS concepts like FLISR, CVR, VVO, Suggested Switching and other concepts that are part of typical DMS systems. Also have experience in leading ADMS implementation teams.

Roles & Responsibility

·         Work with customer Program Management team and other teams for deriving test strategy, test plans, implementation strategy and facilitate test execution activities to guarantee superior outcomes for ADMS and associated applications.

·         Actively collaborate with implementation team, program team and other stakeholders to run Grid modernization programs to meet the set objectives

·         Assist the testing team with power utilities domain inputs and coordinate with customer and vendor teams in resolving functional issues related to ADMS testing.

·         Work along with team to validate requirements and develop test scenario and test cases to meet the objective of successful ADMS implementation

·         Assist the team in electrical network model setup for simulator configuration

·         Help business users in setting up input data for executing ADMS test cases

 

Desired Skills & Experience: 

·         Experience in end to end ADMS implementations for Electric Utilities

·         Domain knowledge of electrical Transmission & Distribution and Smart Grid technologies

·         Good knowledge of electrical utilities IT/OT application landscape including OMS and GIS

Job Description

 

General Summary

Hardware and Embedded Engineer to work in collaboration with the Technical Architects and Program Managers to identify the right sensors depending on the use case. Proposing solutions for fetching data and sending the same to gateway/cloud on AWS, Azure or any other cloud system as identified by the Architect.

 

Required Skills

 

·         Experience working with variety of sensors.

·         Experience to identify sensors based on the use case.

·         Experience in getting data from sensors and help send sensor data to gateway/cloud

·         Understand firmware

·         Good Networking experience.

·         Language and Platform: C/C++,Python, Linux

 

Technical Skill

Responsibilities and Duties
Key accountabilities
• Assume hands on technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with application development standards and achievement of documented requirements • Utilise technical expertise in the requirements analysis phase to ensure the solution is both fit for purpose and fit for use • Design and execute acceptance testing to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of the developed application • Provide on-going support of developed applications to reduce the impact of application defects and related incidents
Primary Skills (Must-haves)

8.       Role : Smart Meter SME :  Location : San Francisco PGNE – Pacific gas

The Smart Meter SME is responsible for monitoring the meter communication network and understanding and identifying failures impacting meter reads and other meter interrogation issues that need to be investigated. This position would be responsible for independently querying data from the Headend System as well as the Meter Data Management (MDM) system to identify and mitigate issues though field investigations or other escalation paths to the appropriate groups when necessary. This position will ensure close communications with the IT AMI Metering Network Team, the Meter Data Analytics group and Field Metering from a mitigation perspective. Interaction with other line of business may also be required when analyzing data for specific customer related issues.

Job Responsibilities:

Independently analyze and troubleshoot medium to complex communication issues within C&I and Residential metering. Ensure the meter mesh communication to AMI meters through the OpenWay/ SilverSping  collection engine headend systems is functioning at an acceptable performance level. Responsible for correcting communication issues or issuing investigation orders for other groups to resolve in the field.

9.       ESRI Assessment and Solution Lead : Location : San Francisco

Individual with experience in developing custom solutions in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The individual has a range of expertise, from software development and application design to system architecture solutions. Software development programming languages include Python, JavaScript, HTML5, and C#/.NET. Specifically, he has applied these to Esri development tasks such as custom ArcGIS Desktop Extensions, ArcGIS Geoprocessing tools, and web mapping applications utilizing the ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
