Position: Linux Engineer

Location: Woonsocket, RI

Duration: 6+ months

Interview: Phone and f2f

 

Required Skills: 

Must be able to interview in-person

Must Haves:

·         Linux Engineering experience

·         Ubuntu

·         Desktop background

·         Bash scripting

·         Not just server level but both server level and desktop level experience

 

Pluses:

·         Ability to help provide roadmap to the future (but not architect level)

·         Local

·         Able to convert perm without sponsorship

 

Day-to-day:

·         They will support 100k workstations in the Client  stores, classified within engineering and support (engineering side) building operating systems. Any packages that get sent remotely to 10k locations of the stores is led by this group.

·         They will interact within  store engineering team, security team, patching and compliance teams and work with Prod Support team on build/fixes so they can be deployed

·         Workstations in the stores support many applications including the pharmacy.
