Position: DevSecOps Cloud Engineer
Location: Temple Terrace-FL (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ months
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
• Four or more years’ experience with AWS
• Four or more years of DevSecOps experience or infrastructure experience.
• Python, Django, HTML, jQuery, Bash scripting experience.
• AWS SDK and CLI experience.
• JSON CloudFormation & Terraform experience.
• Linux and Windows System Administration experience.
• Cloud Networking and Security Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, Confluence.
• Basic DB and SQL experience
JOB DUTIES:
• Core experience and knowledge on Cloud Governance practices and frameworks.
• 3+ years in building cloud platform architecture solutions on public and/or private cloud platforms with an emphasis towards governance/security tools.
• In depth hands-on knowledge on Governance frameworks and services - AWS IAM, Cloud Trail, Cloud Watch, AWS Config to implement controls (e.g., Security Groups, Network ACLs, etc.).
• Strong hands-on knowledge in core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, AWS Lambda, CLI etc.) and familiarity with AWS network services.
• Solid experience with Data Migration and Backup Solutions using S3, DLM.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks and services in other cloud platforms like Azure, OCI and GCP.
• Strong scripting using CloudFormation and Jenkins to automate the build, test, package & deployment of function(s) & configuration. Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS Lambda Functions.
• AWS Professional Certification is an advantage.
• Experience in infrastructure and Cloud services with proficiency in automation using Python, Boto3, Unix Shell and other scripting languages.
• Experience with modern source control repositories (e.g. Git) and DevOps toolsets (Jenkins / Ansible) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Development experience with MySQL tables, queries, procedures and functions.
