Role                       :               Embedded Software Engineer

Location               :               Bloomington, Minnesota

Duration              :               4-6+months

Key responsibilities include:

 

• Develop software to add new functionality to an embedded control product (C/C++)
• Assist in development of test plan to verify operation of new control algorithm
• Update PC engineering software to test new functionality – VB.NET, C#.NET
• Maintain and manage schedules for assigned tasks

 

Requirements:

·         A minimum of five years of experience developing embedded software using C/C++ (primarily C)

·         A degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

·         STM32 experience desired

·         Cypress PSoC experience desired

·         Experience with embedded RTOS desired

·         .NET experience desired

·         Experience with communication (TCP/IP, RESTful API, JSON)

·         Experience with interfacing peripherals with SPI and/or I2C desired

·         Proficiency in lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meter.

·         Demonstrated troubleshooting skills

·         Development work must be on-site at Sage
