Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Front End Software Developer who can utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and NodeJS to develop interfaces for an internal application. The successful candidate will work closely with our software development and design teams to implement enhancements to the existing application. The frontend developer will also aid in identifying design issues and implementing solutions to enhance usability.
Job Responsibilities
Develop new features for internal users
Write clean, reusable code and maintain libraries for future use
Collaborate with user groups to identify issues and potential enhancements
Troubleshoot defects in the user interface and back end framework
Participates in peer review sessions to validate adherence with development standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Knowledge of voice, data, video, and wireless technologies in the telecommunications space is a plus
3+ years’ web development experience
Demonstrable knowledge of front and back end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
Knowledge of front end frameworks, such as AngularJS
Knowledge of PHP web frameworks, such as CodeIgniter
Experience with NodeJS is a plus
Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS
Knowledge of version control tools, such as Git
Proven ability to work independently; designing and developing solutions, and to deliver projects on time with minimal direction
Comfortable working on remote UNIX/Linux based servers using command line technologies
