Interview Date : 11 & 12 Sep 18

Required/Desired Skills:

8+ years of IT experience

Strong background in Java programming.

Strong Spark/Scala expertise – deep understanding of Spark architecture.

Experience with Hadoop – deep understanding of internals of Hadoop, Hive, Oozie, MapReduce, Sqoop.

Should be proficient in writing Advanced SQLs and expertise in performance tuning of SQLs / Hive queries.

Kafka experience is a plus.

Hands-on experience with RESTful Web Services and Spring Framework.

Good understanding of object oriented and micro services design.

Working knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra.

Work closely with Product teams to understand data and analyze requirements.

Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions with data quality controls.

Benchmark application performance periodically and fix performance issues, understanding of Hadoop platform capabilities and limitations.

Should have strong verbal & written communication skills.

Experience in developing automated test scripts to help with regression testing sharp troubleshooting skills to identify and fix issues quickly.

Should be able think out of the box, drives for excellence and is self-motivated.

Optional /Good to have Skills: Agile/Scrum, Multi-location project management, Test automationPreferred work experience: 5-10 years
