v Oracle experience is preferred.
v Pay Rate is $40/hr on C2C.
Job Description:
Moving from Oracle to MySQL database environment so this person need to have a good understanding of both MySQL, Oracle. The DBA and a SQL developer together will be creating data models and structures, building the new DB environment and handling all the data migration work.
SQL DBA needed for this project:
- Strong knowledge of Database/SQL performance tuning and monitoring.
- Set up and maintain database infrastructure for the company's business needs
- Perform database administration tasks, including automation, performance monitoring and tuning, and query optimization
- Work with infrastructure engineers, developers to ensure performance and scalability of applications
- Work with security and operations to manage access control to databases
- Plan and provide operational oversight in database migrations with minimal impact to customers
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
