JOB DESCRIPTION:

SCOPE OF SERVICES 

• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing appropriate hardware, database and programming technology.
• Refine data and format final products.
• Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and code changes.
• Test and develop programming modifications.
• Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
• Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs, e.g., whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
• Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users.
• Confer with users to gain an understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
• Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
• Write and maintain programming documentation.
• Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference

MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Minimum 4 years of programming experience in ASP.NET (3.5, 4.6), C#, VB.NET, HTML5/CSS3, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery MVC and Entity Framework.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in MS SQL and programming of stored procedures
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software engineering and information technology
• Experience using mobile technologies a plus
• Able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management
• Experience in building and specifying mission critical business applications
• Experience using Team Foundation Server for source control and build management a plus
• Ability to apply object-oriented programming skills
• Experience providing user support or code development support in a high-performance computing environment
• Ability to design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications as required by projects. This includes configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle
• Ability to work with business partners, business analysts and other software development teams to define system scope and objectives.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and be willing to research new topics in system administration
