Hiring: Data Architect (Oracle Exadata / Big-Data) for Northbrook, IL - 6 Month Contract

Role: Data Architect (Oracle Exadata / Big Data)

Location: Northbrook, IL

Duration:  6 months

Rate: Market/hour all inclusive

 

Job Description:

·         8+ years experience in Information Architecture

·         5+ Data warehousing experience with Oracle Exadata

·         2+ Data Modeling: Understand the purpose of different data management from 3rd normal, dimensional/fact modeling, other data marts approaches like demoralization for analytics

·         Enterprise service architecture is a plus as that is the future state for the data hub, but not a deep need out of the gates

·         Big Data architecture (Cloudera 5.1) with security (kerbos, sentry), file management strategies, file storage (avro, Json, parquet, etc.), Hive, Python, and Impala a plus 

·         Basic knowledge of ETL with AB-I a plus

Some basic knowledge of the analytic process / methodology
