Publications
1. Beneficial Ownership Transparency: A Guide for Parliaments. This guidance, developed by NDI and OO, aims to clarify the role of legislatures in enacting and implementing effective BOT legislation. 
2. A guide to doing user research for beneficial ownership systems. This guide is for all implementers of beneficial ownership registers – from in-house digital teams, to specialised contractors, to teams creating commercial off-the-shelf products.
3. Developing the world's first transnational open beneficial ownership register: A brief history of the Open Ownership Register. After seven years of experimentation, we have closed the Open Ownership Register. Here, we share the history of the world’s first transnational open beneficial ownership register.
4.  Beneficial ownership transparency: A fundamental reform to accelerate sustainable development. OO’s inputs to the Elements Paper of the Fourth Financing for Development  (FfD4) Conference.

Events
With EITI and NDI, we launched new resources for implementers working on beneficial ownership transparency reform. Hear global experts sharing their experiences of legislating for beneficial ownership transparency.
2. Levelling the playing field - how company transparency drives financing for development. Virtual side event by Open Ownership and UNODC for the FfD4 Multistakeholder hearing, reflecting on how company accountability through beneficial ownership transparency can level the playing field for legitimate businesses and more.

1. Closing the loop: How beneficial ownership information is used and why it matters. Here we introduce the main findings from OO’s new research on beneficial ownership data use
2. Financing for DevelopmentThis piece outlines the key opportunities to advance the potential of beneficial ownership transparency through FfD4 and beyond.
3. Evolving from the Open Ownership Register to increase our impact. OO’s approach is evolving. We are sunsetting the prototype Open Ownership Register, which has catalysed new actors to enter the market using our technology and data. 
4. For wealth taxes to work, governments need to know who owns whatWealth taxes are high on the policy agenda. To effectively enforce wealth taxes, governments need to get better at collecting and sharing data on where the super-rich hold their money.
5. Innovating for change: Tackling corruption with a new Task Force on Interoperable Beneficial Ownership Data. This initiative seeks to advance technology and data governance innovations to combat transnational corruption. Here, we outline the rationale for this approach and the Task Force's upcoming work.
