I hope you are well. I'm pleased to share with you some of Open Ownership's news, including vacancies, recent publications and more.



Opportunities
1. Open Ownership (OO) is hiring a consultant to support the improvement of the legal framework, interoperability, and usability of beneficial ownership (BO) data in Chile.
2. As part of the Opening Extractives programme which we implement jointly with EITI, EITI is hiring a consultant to support our work on enhancing beneficial ownership transparency (BOT) in Mongolia. 

News, publications and more
Publications
1. Chile case study: This case study explores the impacts of BOT on the reform of Chile's public procurement system, ChileCompra. 
2. In this briefing, OO and UNODC outline actions that governments, regional fisheries management organisations, and other groups can take to begin operationalizing the use of BO information in the fisheries sector.
3. This briefing explores how tax authorities can effectively use the BO information of legal vehicles from central registers and other kinds of information relevant to understanding these networks.
4. This policy briefing emphasises the importance of having sufficient detail in BO information, and provides guidance for policymakers and registrars on how to achieve this. Read the summary blog.
5. OO has conducted primary qualitative research on the use of BO data. This report outlines the conceptual framework and lessons learned for effective and user-centred implementation of BOT reforms. 
6. In this research report, we present the findings from a collaboration with TJN to explore and analyse the ownership structures of UK legal entities. Summary blog here.

1. OO will be part of multiple side events at the fourth International Conference on Financing for Development in Seville, Spain. Read more

10. OO and the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) are launching the Global Open Data Integration Network to foster open data practices and collaboration among organisations that publish open data or set open data standards. 
11. Corporate ownership data for millions of entities listed by GLEIF has been transformed and republished in line with the latest version of BODS. 
12. OO has introduced new features to our BODS visualisation library, an open-source tool allowing anyone to automatically visualise BO structures as clearly as possible.
