Hello Open Government Community, 


We are pleased to invite you to a virtual event titled "Intentional Public Participation and Community Engagement in AI Design and Implementation," hosted by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). This event will take place on Monday, December 9, 2024, in recognition of International Anti-Corruption Day and will be held virtually from 1:00 - 2:30 PM EST.


As part of OSTP’s AI and Public Participation module within the new Federal Framework for Public Participation and Community Engagement (PPCE), this event will feature a panel of representatives from federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) governments. Panelists will share their experiences integrating PPCE principles into AI design and implementation, discuss opportunities and challenges in this evolving field, and share key lessons learned.

Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm EST

Location:  Virtual Only, registration required
