Role: PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant (Payroll & Absence Management)
Location: Remote (USA)
Duration: 6 – 12 Months (with potential for extension)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant with deep expertise in the Global/North American Payroll and Absence Management modules. In this role, you will be responsible for technical development, customization, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure the seamless operation of our core HR and payroll functions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Development: Design, develop, and modify PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker).
Module Expertise: Provide expert-level technical support, configuration, and customization specifically for PeopleSoft Payroll and Absence Management modules.
Troubleshooting & Support: Analyze, debug, and resolve complex technical issues, system bugs, and payroll processing errors.
Data & Reporting: Create and maintain complex queries, SQR reports, BI Publisher reports, and data extractions.
Tax Updates & Maintenance: Assist in the application, testing, and deployment of PeopleSoft Tax Updates and PUM images.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of solid technical experience as a PeopleSoft HCM Consultant.
Core Focus: Proven track record of successful implementations, upgrades, or support cycles within Payroll and Absence Management.
Technical Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in PeopleTools 8.5x or higher (PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, Integration Broker).
Database Skills: Strong SQL writing and performance tuning skills.
Soft Skills: Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment, with excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and functional stakeholders.
