Sr. Technical Oracle DBA
Location: Sacramento, CA — Hybrid

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Oracle DBA with strong experience in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support. The candidate will be responsible for database design, installation, upgrades, backup/recovery, high availability, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Oracle databases in production and non-production environments.
• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Monitor and tune database performance, SQL queries, and system resources.
• Manage RMAN backups, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and high-availability environments.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain database standards, security, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c or higher.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with database upgrades, migrations, patching, and production support.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Must be local to Sacramento, CA and able to work in a hybrid environment.
