Duration: 12+ Months  
Type: W2 only (No C2C)
No H1B, No GC (OPT Works on W2 only)  

 
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong Java expertise to design and build scalable test automation frameworks for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust automated testing.
Responsibilities:


Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and industry-standard tools.
Build and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Develop automation solutions using tools like Selenium and TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
Perform API testing using REST-based services and automation tools.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
Ensure test coverage, code quality, and adherence to QA best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving automation frameworks.
Maintain test documentation, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience in QA Automation using Java.
Strong programming skills in Java with good understanding of OOP concepts.
Experience with Gherkin (Cucumber) using BDD.
Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation with Playwright for AngularJS applications.
Experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
Strong knowledge of API testing (REST services).
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/GitLab.
Solid understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have:
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Splunk or Datadog
Basic knowledge of performance testing concepts.
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
