Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist with strong testing, and production support capabilities. This role will support application releases, change requests, upgrades, and maintenance activities while work closely with state clients, partner modules, technical teams, and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in functional testing, performance testing, automation using UFT/frameworks, and production issue triage in a fast-paced environment. Healthcare experience, especially Medicaid, is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support testing for application releases, change requests, upgrades, and new builds.
• Execute and support functional, performance, regression, smoke, and validation testing.
• Design, maintain, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test plans in collaboration with the Test Lead.
• Perform hands-on testing of SFTP file transfers, SOAP & and REST APIs.
• Support and enhance test automation efforts using UFT and related automation frameworks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate release management activities, including build scheduling, maintenance events, and deployment readiness.
• Partner with development, infrastructure, and client teams to ensure smooth execution of release and maintenance cycles.
• Analyze and triage production issues, perform root cause investigation, support defect resolution, re-test fixes, and assist with production promotion activities.
• Use Splunk and other log analysis tools to troubleshoot issues and validate system behavior.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, including state clients and partner module teams, and provide regular status updates.
• Provide flexible support for smoke testing, validation activities, and other scheduled or ad hoc maintenance events.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in an Operations Specialist, QA/Test Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with functional testing, performance testing methodologies, and test execution.
• Experience with test automation tools, especially UFT, and familiarity with automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SFTP file transfer testing and SOAP/REST web service testing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience in production issue triage and defect validation.
• Experience using Splunk or similar log monitoring/analysis tools.
• Experience responding to helpdesk queries or incident tickets related to PROD systems, with a strong sense of urgency and ownership in driving issues to resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to articulate issues, risks, and status clearly.
• Proven ability to work across teams and manage activities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and proactively drive tasks to closure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare domain, with Medicaid experience preferred.
• Experience working with state clients and partner modules.
• Prior experience supporting application upgrades, release cycles, and production support in regulated or enterprise environments.
