Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP P2P (Procure-to-Pay) Consultant to support and enhance procurement and payment processes within SAP environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP MM, procurement lifecycle management, invoice verification, vendor management, and integration with Finance modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, configure solutions, and provide production support.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP P2P/MM processes including PR, PO, Goods Receipt, and Invoice Verification.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay lifecycle and process improvements.
• Perform system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment activities.
• Support invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor coordination.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM/P2P production issues.
• Work closely with Finance (FI/AP), Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support integration with SAP FI, Ariba, SRM, and other procurement systems.
• Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Participate in implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.

 

Required Skills

• 5+ years of SAP P2P / SAP MM experience.
• Strong knowledge of Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), and Invoice Verification (MIRO).
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM.
• Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, and vendor management processes.
• Experience with release strategies, output types, and master data management.
• Knowledge of integration between SAP MM and SAP FI.
• Experience in testing, documentation, and production support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Skills

• SAP Ariba, SRM, or S/4HANA implementation experience.
• Knowledge of IDocs, interfaces, and EDI integrations.
• Exposure to Agile project methodology.
• SAP certification in MM or S/4HANA Procurement is a plus
