Role: Azure Cloud Architect

Location: Schenectady, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months

Experience: 10+ Years

 

Responsibilities:

• Drive automated Azure infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (IaC) and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Design and lead migration of Azure-hosted applications,
• Build unified Azure security and vulnerability dashboards using Azure Monitor / Log Analytics to track vulnerabilities, patch status, and compliance posture for CIO/CISO leadership

Must Have Skills:

• Azure Architecture & Engineering: Azure VMs, VNets, NSGs, Azure AD, Storage, Monitoring, Log Analytics Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Terraform, ARM templates, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud Security & Compliance: MFA (PingID, YubiKey), Identity Governance (Saviynt), vulnerability remediation
• Cloud Operations & Reliability: Performance tuning, availability, patching, monitoring, Tier 2/3 support
• Hybrid & Cloud Migration: On‑prem to Azure migrations, application modernization
• Scripting & Tooling: PowerShell, Azure CL
