Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer for based in Ocoee, FL. This position involves strategic planning, design, and optimization of network infrastructure, using cutting-edge technologies to develop effective network solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement network solutions using copper, fiber, and wireless infrastructure
- Translate business needs into effective network architecture, recommending hardware and software
- Manage configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Evaluate and recommend new products, staying updated on emerging technologies
- Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and suggest improvements
- Troubleshoot network issues and devise resolution protocols
- Lead enterprise-wide initiatives as a Project Leader
- Travel to remote locations as required
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
What You'll Need
- Cisco certifications in Network Professional, Design Professional, Security Professional, and Voice Professional domains
- Expertise in network infrastructure, including DMARC to workstations, fiber distribution, routers, switches, DHCP, and topology
- Extensive experience with HPE/Aruba Switching products
- Knowledge of the OSI model and data flow
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with enterprise networking hardware and cloud networking
- Proficiency in network performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Institute Degree/Certificate in Information Systems or related fields, or equivalent work experience
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
