Sr Java Backend Developer

Work Location: 6360 S Fiddlers Green Cir Greenwood Village CO (Onsite)

Work Model: Onsite / Client‑facing

Relocation: Day‑1 onsite required (Local candidates preferred)

Experience: 8–10 years (max)

Interview model : Technical Questions and Hands on Coding

Interview Mode: Video or in-person (candidates willing to come to in-person interview preferred)

 

 

1. Relevant Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of strong backend engineering experience.
• Overall, only 10 years' IT Experience 
• Profiles must clearly demonstrate end-to-end ownership (design, development, testing, deployment, production support).

2. Core Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong hands-on experience in Java/Scala OR TypeScript/Node.js (as per the attached JD).
• Proven experience building high-throughput, low-latency microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, and at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB/DocumentDB/DynamoDB).

3. System Design & Architecture

• Experience designing scalable, resilient systems handling high transaction volumes.
• Ability to make architecture trade-offs and lead design discussions.

4. Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS – Mandatory)

• Strong hands-on AWS experience (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

5. Testing, Quality & Reliability

• Strong experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing strategies.
• Production support experience with incident analysis, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems (SRE mindset).

6. Observability & Monitoring

• Hands-on experience with Datadog and/or Splunk.
• Experience with distributed tracing, logging, metrics, and alerting.

7. Soft Skills (Mandatory)

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to take initiative, identify risks, and drive improvements.

8. Resume Quality Requirements

• Include project details, specific responsibilities, and technologies used.
