We are looking for a Senior Java SRE to join a high-impact financial services program supporting mission-critical, high-frequency transaction systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on reliability engineer who thrives in large-scale, cloud-native, regulated environments.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Design and operate highly available, fault-tolerant systems at enterprise scale
Lead SRE practices: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, reliability engineering
Provide L3/L4 production support, RCA, and incident remediation
Optimize Java microservices (JVM internals, GC tuning) on Kubernetes (EKS)
Build and manage AWS-native infrastructure (EKS, EC2, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB)
Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Python, Go, Bash
Implement service mesh (Istio / Anthos) and advanced Kubernetes storage (Portworx)
Drive observability using Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, eBPF
Support real-time streaming platforms (Kafka, KSQLDB, Spark Streaming)
Enforce banking-grade security & compliance (SOC2, PCI-DSS, SOX)
✅ What We’re Looking For
15+ years of experience in SRE / Production Engineering / Platform Engineering
Deep expertise in Java, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD
Experience supporting core banking, payment gateways, or trading systems
Proven background in high-volume, low-latency environments
AWS Professional & CKA / CKS certification (mandatory)
