Job Title: Oracle Apex Developer/Programmer
Duration: 3+ Months
Location: Richmond, VA

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

Job Description:

• Seeking Oracle and APEX developer to modernize financial system.
• Professional experience working with Web based applications using Oracle as a backend is required.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, Javascript/Jquery required.

Professional experience

• Working with Web based applications using Oracle as the backend is required.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/18c Database, SQL, PL/SQL programming and Javascript or Jquery required.
• Experience in APEX and HTML is required. Strong background and work experience in developing true web applications are necessary.
• Knowledge in software development and installation, change management, Git CI/CD pipeline and testing.
• Strong designing, development, and troubleshooting skills required.
• Good oral and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to assess the impact of software upgrades and other environment changes.
• Seven or more years of work experience is required in Oracle 11g/12c/18c Database, SQL, PL/SQL programming.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in conducting feasibility studies
• analyzing new requirements
• preparing functional and system specifications for application programmers; developing data models and system designs
• developing complex program codes
• testing application and evaluating results for accuracy, timelines and integrative features
• preparing documentation
• implementing and supporting data processing systems is required.
