Need Business System Analyst with REL EXP.
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support Real Estate Lending (REL) by analyzing, documenting, and optimizing systems, processes, and requirements. This role serves as a key contributor on complex systems projects and project teams, applying expert knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and business processes to help REL implement its strategic vision. The analyst will partner with stakeholders to bridge business needs with technology solutions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and long-term scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis & Requirements Gathering
Evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness of systems and workflows.
Use elicitation techniques to gather detailed stakeholder requirements.
Analyze, define, and document technical design for data, workflows, logical processes, hardware, and system interfaces.
Identify business requirements including needs, objectives, functions, features, inputs, and outputs.
Conduct root cause analysis to recommend business solutions and improvements.
Process & Workflow Optimization
Develop and document workflow adjustments to streamline operations.
Ensure compliance with policy, vendor contractual requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
Partner with other business units and vendors to resolve issues, enhance processes, and implement initiatives.
Project & Stakeholder Engagement
Lead project teams to deliver consistent performance and meet project schedules.
Present conclusions, recommendations, and alternatives to management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and vendors, to implement solutions.
Act as a resource for resolving complex and unique technical or business problems.
Documentation & Reporting
Write business and technical requirements, and define editorial workflows.
Develop and oversee project roadmaps outlining preventive and corrective actions to address risks and deficiencies.
Ensure controls (preventive, detective, corrective) are identified, documented, and embedded.
Maintain documentation of system solutions, decision logs, and best practices.
Leadership & Knowledge Sharing
Guide, mentor, and support less experienced staff.
Represent REL in organizational task groups for new systems, products, or services.
Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business goals.
Apply and communicate changes in industry standards, technology, and systems.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, project management, or IT systems.
Proven experience in problem resolution, root cause analysis, and solution design.
Strong background in statistical methods, cost-benefit analysis, and data modeling.
Demonstrated success in leading large, complex projects/initiatives with significant business impact.
Expert skills in data querying, reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
Extensive experience researching, documenting, and optimizing business processes.
Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
Master’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
