Position Summary
This role is responsible for designing,
developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that power our Business
Escrow Services. The successful candidate will
leverage SQL to build robust data pipelines and analytics dashboards, ensuring
the integrity and accessibility of financial data for specialized commercial
banking distributions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Pipeline
Development
- SQL Solution Design: Design, develop, and
maintain SQL-based data solutions to support complex escrow banking and
operational systems.
- Pipeline Orchestration: Build and support
scalable data pipelines and datasets using Databricks for efficient,
high-volume data workflows.
- Query Optimization: Write, optimize,
and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to ensure
high-performance data processing.
- Data Transformation: Implement sophisticated
transformation logic to convert raw escrow transaction data into
actionable business intelligence
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based data
solutions to support banking and operational systems.
- Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries, stored
procedures, and views for efficient data processing.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Level 2/3 support for data-related issues
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues,
pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with business users to understand and
resolve data discrepancies
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
for troubleshooting procedures
- Establish monitoring and alerting systems for
proactive issue identification
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with data analysts, business
intelligence developers, and business stakeholders
- Participate in agile development processes and
sprint planning
DevOps & CI/CD Implementation (Nice
to have)
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure
DevOps for data engineering projects
- Automate deployment processes for packages,
Python scripts, and database objects
- Implement infrastructure as code practices for
data platform components.
Professional Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and
communication skills with the ability to work independently in a
fast-paced environment
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering with strong SQL expertise.
