Day to Day
Daily Responsibilities (Product Analyst/Owner): Writing requirements, working with engineering, validating experiences, analyzing data to pivot story-level details, challenging feature decisions.
Daily Responsibilities (Product Manager): Looking at data, determining next steps, experimenting, testing, defining roadmaps, pivoting strategies.
The Product Manager role, initially, will require the individual to balance both product manager and product analyst responsibilities until an analyst is hired for that vertical (estimated 3-5 months later).
The Product Analyst roles are similar to Product Owner or Assistant Product Owner roles.
The analytical component of a Product Owner is growing as AI takes over tactical tasks, making the role more strategic.
Cava's product verticals are Commerce (including catering and retail), Guest Experience and Personalization, and Loyalty and Offers.
One Product Analyst will focus on personalization and loyalty, reporting to Lauren Murphy.
One Product Analyst will focus on catering (commerce vertical), reporting to Brittany Pedrosa.
The Product Manager will focus on Cava.com and the mobile app, with the potential to elevate an existing Product Manager to Senior Product Manager over the entire commerce vertical.
