Key Responsibilities and Skills:
As an Azure Senior Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on:
- Cloud Platform Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Azure, including both PaaS and IaaS services.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in automating infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Bicep and Terraform (if applicable, otherwise focus on Bicep).
- CI/CD & DevOps: Extensive experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
- Scripting & Automation: Strong command of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash for automation tasks.
- Configuration Management: Experience with defining infrastructure and application configurations using YAML.
- Security & Identity: Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth2 and SSO for secure access.
Additional Skills that would be beneficial:
- Infrastructure Automation: Proven ability to automate complex infrastructure tasks.
- Secure Deployment: Experience in implementing secure deployment practices.
- Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with Integration Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Operating Systems: Experience with both Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
- API Integrations: Ability to integrate systems through APIs.
- Deployment Pipelines: Expertise in designing and optimizing deployment pipelines.
