Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Record-to-Report (R2R/RTR) Solution Architect. The ideal candidate will lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream as part of a large-scale Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformation.
This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Accounting Hub, along with strong experience in financial process transformation, data migration, testing, reconciliation, and post-go-live support. The consultant will partner with finance leadership to redesign financial processes, standardize the global Chart of Accounts (COA), and deliver scalable Oracle Cloud Financial solutions that support business growth and future acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Financials Solution Architecture
- Lead the Record-to-Report (R2R/RTR) workstream for Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation.
- Design and define end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials solution architecture.
- Lead functional design and implementation of:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Accounting Hub (AHCS), where applicable
- Ensure solutions align with Oracle Cloud best practices and organizational financial objectives.
Oracle EBS to Fusion Migration
- Lead financial transformation initiatives from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Support Lift-and-Shift financial migration strategies while maintaining financial data integrity.
- Drive Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign and financial process standardization.
- Ensure accurate migration of historical financial data, balances, and ledgers.
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Support financial close processes throughout implementation and post-go-live.
- Ensure ledger integrity, reconciliation, and compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- Develop and optimize financial reporting using:
- Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
- BI Publisher
- Support audit readiness and financial compliance initiatives.
Data Migration, Testing & Cutover
- Define and execute testing strategies for Finance modules.
- Lead:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Financial Data Validation
- Data Reconciliation
- Develop and execute finance cutover plans.
- Ensure successful deployment with minimal business disruption.
Integration & Enterprise Systems
- Collaborate with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) teams to ensure seamless financial integration.
- Work closely with technical teams on Oracle integrations and data migration activities.
- Support Oracle SQL development for reporting, validation, and reconciliation activities.
Post-Go-Live Support
- Provide Hypercare support after deployment.
- Resolve production issues related to Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Drive continuous process improvements and support the long-term finance transformation roadmap.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of Oracle Financials consulting experience.
- Strong experience leading Oracle Record-to-Report (R2R/RTR) implementations.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Experience implementing and supporting:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Accounting Hub (AHCS)
- Proven experience migrating from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
- Strong understanding of:
- Financial Close Processes
- Financial Reporting
- Financial Reconciliation
- Chart of Accounts (COA) Design
- Ledger Management
- Experience developing reports using:
- OTBI
- BI Publisher
- Strong Oracle SQL skills.
- Experience with financial data migration, testing, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
