Position Overview
Client is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join our eServices Portal Team within the eCommerce department. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity requiring onsite work to start. Partial hybrid flexibility may be considered after six months based on performance and team needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development experience across Java, Spring technologies, and front-end web frameworks, along with production support experience in an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 8+ years of professional development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related 4-year degree
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder (GC), or EAD

• Strong full-stack experience including:
Required Technologies:
• Java, JavaScript, JSP, jQuery
• Spring MVC
• Spring Boot
• Spring Data JPA
• Hibernate
• Spring Security
• SOAP and REST Web Services
• GitHub
Nice to Have
• MQ (IBM MQ or similar messaging platforms)
• DevOps experience (Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics)
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Implement enhancements and fulfill action requests across front-end and back-end systems
• Analyze and troubleshoot UI behavior using JSP and jQuery
• Investigate and optimize server-side logic using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Data JPA
• Diagnose and resolve production issues by reviewing logs and monitoring system performance
• Deploy fixes and support releases using Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to maintain application stability
• Document technical findings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch, flexible)
• Occasional off-hours or weekend support may be required
