Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) Consultant with 12+ years of overall IT experience and at least 5+ years of SAP Analytics/Data Management expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) solutions, including SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP HANA Cloud, and Databricks integration.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable cloud analytics, data products, governance frameworks, and enterprise data management solutions.

 

Must-Have Skills

  • 12+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 5+ years of SAP Analytics/Data Management experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
  • Expertise in:
    • SAP Datasphere
    • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
    • SAP HANA Cloud
    • SAP S/4HANA Data Integration
    • Data Modeling & Data Warehousing
  • Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources.
  • Strong SQL, ETL/ELT, and data transformation skills.
  • Experience with Databricks integration and enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and security frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) solutions.
  • Build and maintain scalable data models, data products, and analytical solutions using SAP Datasphere.
  • Develop and support SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards, reports, planning models, and visualizations.
  • Integrate SAP and third-party data sources using SAP BDC connectivity and data-sharing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design and implement enterprise data governance, metadata management, security, and access control strategies.
  • Support data migration, validation, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Work closely with Databricks and enterprise data lake teams to enable advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases.
  • Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and integration issues across SAP and cloud environments.
  • Prepare technical design documents, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, and solution specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise data architecture standards and best practices.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and recommend improvements for cloud analytics solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP Analytics and Data Management.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Business Data Cloud technologies and cloud analytics architecture.
  • Experience working on enterprise-scale SAP transformation and modernization programs.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Datasphere Certification.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Certification.
  • Experience implementing enterprise cloud analytics platforms.
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Exposure to SAP Business AI and SAP Joule.
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Lake and enterprise cloud data platforms.
  • Experience designing multi-region analytics and data governance architectures.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML analytics solutions integrated with Databricks.
