Job Title: AWS Integration Lead (TIBCO Migration & Cloud Modernization)

Location: Atlanta, GA (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS Integration Lead to drive a large-scale enterprise integration modernization initiative involving the migration of legacy TIBCO middleware and ESB platforms to AWS cloud-native integration architecture. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise integration, cloud-native design, API-led architecture, event-driven systems, AWS services, and modernization strategies.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader, partnering with enterprise architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define scalable integration architectures, execute migration strategies, and ensure successful cloud transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Integration Architecture

Define and design enterprise-wide integration architecture for migrating legacy TIBCO middleware to AWS cloud-native platforms.
Architect scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and resilient integration solutions.
Design integration patterns including:

API-Led Integration
Event-Driven Architecture
Batch Processing
File-Based Integration
Service Orchestration

Build reusable integration frameworks aligned with enterprise standards and cloud best practices.

AWS Cloud Modernization

Lead cloud modernization initiatives and migration strategies from TIBCO ESB to AWS-native services.
Select and implement appropriate AWS services based on business and technical requirements.
Design cloud-native integration platforms using AWS serverless and container technologies.
Optimize cloud architectures for scalability, security, availability, and cost efficiency.

Integration Solution Design

Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) for complex integration use cases.
Design APIs, event-driven workflows, and asynchronous messaging solutions.
Architect modern integration solutions using AWS services and open-source technologies.
Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for enterprise integration.

Migration Strategy & Risk Management

Lead migration planning and execution across multiple modernization waves.
Assess migration complexity and identify dependencies.
Develop mitigation plans for:

Migration risks
Performance bottlenecks
Data integrity
Production readiness

Define rollback and disaster recovery strategies.

DevOps & Automation

Implement CI/CD pipelines for integration services.
Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment automation.
Utilize Git, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, and container technologies.
Ensure deployment consistency across development, QA, and production environments.

API Management & Integration Governance

Design enterprise API management strategies.
Implement secure API gateways and governance frameworks.
Establish logging, monitoring, and observability for integration platforms.
Drive integration security, compliance, and operational excellence.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Engineering teams, Product Owners, Sales, and Customer stakeholders.
Provide technical leadership throughout modernization initiatives.
Communicate architecture decisions and migration strategies to technical and business audiences.
Act as a trusted advisor for enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
15+ years of experience in enterprise integration and solution architecture.
12+ years of experience leading large-scale integration modernization programs.
Proven experience migrating TIBCO middleware or other ESB platforms to AWS cloud-native architecture.
Strong experience designing enterprise integration platforms and cloud-native solutions.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
