Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Veeva Vault CRM Integration Developer for an Onsite C2C Contract opportunity in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Veeva Vault CRM, Veeva CRM (Salesforce-based), REST API development, Databricks, AWS, MuleSoft, and enterprise integration technologies. This role will focus on designing, developing, and remediating integrations, migrating custom applications, supporting schema changes, and delivering scalable integration solutions while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and Life Sciences regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Development & Remediation
- Design, develop, and remediate enterprise integrations using Veeva Vault native integration patterns.
- Build integrations utilizing:
- Vault REST API
- Direct Data API
- Spark Messaging
- Spark with ETL
- Apache Iceberg
- Marketing Cloud Automation
- Develop scalable REST APIs for enterprise consumers of Veeva CRM data.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
- Support deployment across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments with rollback procedures.
Schema Change & Data Migration
- Analyze and remediate schema and object changes within the Veeva Vault platform.
- Perform source-to-target mapping using Veeva's authoritative data dictionary.
- Resolve downstream integration issues resulting from object renaming and schema modifications.
- Develop and maintain automated regression test packs to validate schema changes.
Custom Application Migration
- Assess existing custom applications and recommend migration strategies.
- Rebuild, refactor, or replace applications based on approved modernization plans.
- Ensure complete traceability from requirements through testing and deployment.
- Prepare technical documentation and transition knowledge to support teams.
API & Integration Engineering
- Design and develop enterprise-grade RESTful APIs.
- Build integrations between:
- Veeva Vault
- Salesforce CRM
- AWS Services
- Databricks Lakehouse
- Informatica
- MuleSoft
- Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions.
CI/CD & Engineering Excellence
- Establish and maintain development standards and CI/CD pipelines.
- Define branching strategies, code review standards, and release management processes.
- Implement automated integration testing and regression testing.
- Maintain configuration management and deployment governance.
Testing & Validation
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation.
- Develop and execute integration test cases.
- Manage defects, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Support Computer System Validation (CSV) documentation where applicable.
- Ensure secure handling of PHI/PII using masking and synthetic test data.
Hypercare & Production Support
- Provide post-production deployment support and hypercare.
- Resolve P1/P2 production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Create operational runbooks and support documentation.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for client support teams.
Collaboration
- Work closely with:

- 8+ years of experience in enterprise application integration and software development.
