Job Title: Salesforce Technical Architect (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud & Service Cloud Voice)

Location: 6565 Headquarters Drive, Plano, Texas 75024 (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract / C2C

Note: This is a 100% onsite role. Candidates must be local to the Plano, TX area and available for in-person interviews.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Service Cloud Voice (SCV). The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Salesforce architecture, enterprise integrations, data architecture, and cloud-native CRM solutions.

The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership, guide development teams, collaborate with executive stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce implementations aligned with business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Solution Architecture

  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions that align with enterprise business objectives.
  • Define end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Service Cloud Voice (SCV).
  • Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
  • Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Salesforce Platform Development

  • Lead the design and development of Salesforce applications using:
    • Apex Classes
    • Apex Triggers
    • Lightning Components (LWC)
    • Visualforce
    • Salesforce APIs
  • Guide configuration and customization of Salesforce environments.
  • Support greenfield Salesforce implementations and enterprise enhancements.

Integration Architecture

  • Design and implement enterprise integration solutions between Salesforce and external applications.
  • Build scalable Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions.
  • Develop API-based integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Work with middleware and integration platforms to support enterprise connectivity.

Data Architecture & Governance

  • Design Salesforce data models and enterprise data architecture.
  • Lead data migration, cleansing, validation, and governance initiatives.
  • Develop backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and security policies.

Salesforce Org Consolidation & Migration

  • Lead Salesforce Org Merge and Org Consolidation initiatives.
  • Design migration strategies for enterprise Salesforce environments.
  • Optimize data quality and eliminate duplicate records.
  • Support large-scale Salesforce transformation projects.

Performance Optimization

  • Analyze system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Improve application scalability, reliability, and response times.
  • Review platform usage and recommend architecture improvements.

Technical Leadership

  • Mentor Salesforce Developers, Technical Leads, and Junior Architects.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and code quality assessments.
  • Establish Salesforce development standards and governance processes.
  • Promote reusable components and enterprise design patterns.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and delivery teams.
  • Conduct architecture workshops and technical design sessions.
  • Present solution designs to executive leadership.
  • Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation & Governance

  • Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, integration documents, and implementation playbooks.
  • Maintain enterprise architecture documentation.
  • Support governance reviews and architecture approval processes.

Production Support

  • Guide development teams in troubleshooting complex production issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Salesforce platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of Salesforce implementation and architecture experience.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise Salesforce solutions.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience leading enterprise CRM transformation initiatives.

  • Experience implementing Salesforce Service Cloud Voice (SCV).
  • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) is a plus.
  • Experience leading Salesforce Org Merge and large-scale migration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • AWS Cloud exposure.
