Job Overview:
We are undergoing a strategic migration to Snowflake and seek a highly competent Snowflake, Data Science, and AWS expert to join our Data Science team. In this pivotal lead/supporting role, you will guide the migration of existing processes to Snowflake, accelerate team adoption, and provide ongoing leadership with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of current Data Science processes to Snowflake, ensuring seamless transition and optimization.
- Collaborate with the Data Science team to upskill them on Snowflake integration and best practices.
- Serve in a Lead or Supporting capacity, driving initiatives independently and delivering high-impact results.
- Leverage expertise in AWS to architect scalable data pipelines and cloud-native solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders, fostering team alignment and adoption.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Snowflake (data warehousing, Snowpark, Streams, Tasks) with hands-on migration experience.
- Strong Data Science background, including Python/R, ML models, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, SageMaker) for data engineering and analytics.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence and train teams effectively.
- Highly self-driven mindset, thriving in autonomous environments with minimal direction.
